Testing Center Policies
- Appointments for Face-to-Face/Hyflex courses must be made 24 hours in advance.
- PRCC Testing Centers reserve the right to deny testing to anyone who arrives late for their scheduled appointment or displays disorderly conduct by the person scheduled to test or their companions.
- Cell phones and any electronic device that can be used to retrieve or transmit information are not allowed in a PRCC Testing Center.
- Watches of any kind are not allowed in the GHJ Testing Center.
- Food and drink are not allowed in any PRCC Testing Center.
- Headwear, all outerwear, and all hoodies are not allowed in the GHJ Testing Center.
- A valid photo ID is required.
- Photos of IDs will not be accepted in any PRCC Testing Center.
- Security cameras and computer monitoring software are in use in all PRCC Testing Centers.
- Cheating is not tolerated.
- PRCC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- Children are not allowed in the GHJ Library, nor the GHJ Testing Center.
- If you do not show up for your on-campus course testing appointment and do not cancel or reschedule before your appointment, you will be charged $25.00 per missed appointment. If you are an hour or more late, you will be considered a no-show and charged $25.00 per missed appointment. You may also be required to reschedule your appointment based on the Testing Center’s hours of operation and the duration of the test.
- Testing fees paid to non-PRCC testing companies may not be refunded if the tester neglects to arrive at the required arrival time which is set by the testing company, or if the tester arrives past the testing company’s late grace period.
Pearson Vue

TABE
The TABE test should only be taken once a semester. However, a second test may be allowed at the discretion of the instructor, but no more than twice within a semester, and there must be a 4-week span (month) between testing. This 4-week waiting period should be used for remediation for the next time it is taken.
