Welcome to the Theatre website page! The Theatre program at PRCC consists of 2 productions per year: a Children’s production in the Fall and a fulllength production in the Spring. We do a musical in alternate years.

Auditions

Audition dates are available during the Spring semester by appointment only.

Non-singers: 2 1-minute contrasting monologues from published plays.

Singers: 1 1-minute monologue and 32 bars of a musical theatre piece.

At PRCC, it is the students responsibility to keep records of syllabi of the courses they take in the event that future college(s) require this information. Pearl River Community College does not provide syllabi to former students transferring to another college or university.  Students are directed to visit the Mississippi Community College Board website and access course descriptions and Student Learning Outcomes for academic courses that are used by all Mississippi Community Colleges.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
