HOW TO APPLY

The Aviation Maintenance Technology program offers an FAA-certified curriculum designed to prepare students for a career as aircraft, airframe and powerplant mechanics. The program is four semesters, both fall and spring and summer courses for the Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. This program is designed to prepare the student for the Federal Aviation Administration exams for certification as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. PRCC’s AMT program is housed in the PRCC Hancock Aviation and Aerospace Workforce Academy, located at 13915 Fred and Al Key Rd, Kiln, MS 39556. See map below.

1. Complete PRCC Application

Within 3-5 days after you apply, you will receive RiverGuide Credentials. 

ACT scores should be eScript to the PRCC Admissions Office or mailed to:

3. Interview with AMT Director

  • Seats are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  
  • AMT students will be required to provide a current five (5) panel drug screen test and pass a background check for final admittance. 

**Note-Admission to the college does not guarantee admission to the AMT program.

Location

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
