Why Should I Become An Active Alumnus After PRCC?
When colleges get it right, they produce graduates who are successful in their chosen path and have an affinity to and love for their alma mater. One of the best ways graduates can demonstrate that loyalty is by donating to their school. There are many reasons alumni give back to their college: to show appreciation for the education and development the school provided them; to provide others with a similar experience; to stay connected to the college community; and even to reap the social and emotional benefits associated with being a donor. Not only does alumni giving help increase financial support for the college by virtue of the actual donations themselves, it is also a signal that the college is well loved and supported by its graduates.
One way you can give back as an alumnus is by becoming a member of the annual PRCC Alumni Association. Annual membership to the Alumni Association is only $30 a year!! Your investment allows the current generation to receive an outstanding education, thus ensuring the success of the students and future students at Pearl River Community College for years to come. Our goal is to cultivate relationships, motivate participation and create opportunities for a continuous connection with the college, its alumni and the community.
