March 3, 2023

Randy King, an employee of Aladdin Food Services on the Poplarville Campus was surprised by the announcement he had been selected as Outstanding PRCC Employee for January 2023. He was presented with certificates containing his nomination information and several goodies in honor of his hard work.

“I love everything about working here on the Poplarville Campus,” said King. “Everybody is nice. The River is a great place to be!”

King came to The River in August 2005. During the week, he is typically found at the Rotisserie Chicken station. When Aladdin is catering an event, you will often find him restocking food and helping make the experience exceptional.

“Randy is an outstanding employee,” said Jerome Wilson, Food Service Director for Aladdin Food Services. “He is diligent and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy our customers.”

The Outstanding PRCC Employee recognition program was set up to allow anyone in the community to recognize a PRCC employee that goes above and beyond in their duties.

Executive Director of Development Foundation/Alumni Association Delana Harris nominated King.

“Randy works for Aladdin Food Services but works closely with PRCC employees during events,” said Harris. “Randy also serves our students each day. Randy always has a smile on his face and goes above and beyond to make sure that PRCC events are perfect.

“I have personally worked with Randy on hundreds of events, and he is a joy and blessing to our college.”
