St. Stanislaus standout signs with PRCC

Kollin Cannon, a standout running back-wide receiver from St. Stanislaus College in BaySt. Louis, has signed a football scholarship with Pearl River Community College. The 5-foot-9 Cannon won the Mr. Rock-A-Chaw Award and the Doc Blanchard Award (MVP) at the 2010 Fall Sports Awards Convocation. He was named the 2010 Division 8-AAAA Offensive Player of the Year, a member of the 2010 Mississippi Association of Coaches First Team 4A All-State Football Team, and the 2010 Sun Herald All-South Mississippi Football Team. Cannon is a four-year varsity football letter winner, three-year soccer letterman and a three-year baseball letter winner. He was a member of the 2009 MHSAA 4-A state championship football team, the 2010 MHSAA 4-A state championship soccer team, and the 2010 MHSAA 4-A state championship baseball team. He has been selected to represent St. Stanislaus in the Wendy''s High School Heismanaward process. The program, awarded in conjunction with the collegiate Heisman, celebrates theachievements of the nation''s top high school seniors both in and out of the classroom. To beeligible, students must display academic aptitude, athletic talent and community leadership. He is the son of Julie and Kelly Cannon of Bay St. Louis.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
