PRCC offers shipfitting course at Hancock Center

WAVELAND _ Applications are being accepted for a shipfitting course this summer semester at Pearl River Community College”s Hancock Center. Class meets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Hancock Center, 954 Highway 90 in Waveland. The class will run from May 14 through July 16. The 350-hour course lays the groundwork for entering the shipbuilding/repair industry as an entry-level shipfitter. Candidates must provide drug-screening documentation and meet required WorkKeys levels. Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
