WAVELAND _ Applications are being accepted for a shipfitting course this summer semester at Pearl River Community College”s Hancock Center. Class meets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Hancock Center, 954 Highway 90 in Waveland. The class will run from May 14 through July 16. The 350-hour course lays the groundwork for entering the shipbuilding/repair industry as an entry-level shipfitter.
