PRCC hosts CTE signing day on July 14 at Forrest County Campus

Pearl River Community College is hosting a special signing day for students interested in enrolling in one of the many Career-Technical Education programs offered at the Forrest County Campus.

Signing day is Wednesday, July 14.

PRCC officials will register students, offer tours and answer questions from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

“We are excited about CTE signing day,” said Dr. Jana Causey, Vice President for the Forrest County Center, Allied Health and Nursing programs. “We have created this event to help our students learn about our program opportunities, tour our facilities, complete steps to enroll, and celebrate their decision to pursue.”

Recruitment, counselors, faculty, administrators, and staff will be available to assist students with tours, financial aid, and creating schedules, according to Dr. James Collum, Dean of the Career and Technical Education programs at the Forrest County Campus.

“The main objective of the day is to help students understand what CTE programs are offered and to assist students with the necessary steps to be accepted into these programs,” said Dr. Collum.
