PRCC Hancock Center registration set for Aug. 5

Registration at the Hancock Center of Pearl River Community College will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5.The Hancock Center is located at 454 Highway 90 in Waveland.Fall semester day classes at the Hancock Center include Art Appreciation, Computer Application in Business and Industry, Beginning English, Intermediate English, English Composition I and II, Spanish I, World Geography, hybrid World Civilization I, World Civilization II, hybrid American History I, American History II, Fundamentals of Mathematics, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus I, hybrid General Psychology, General Psychology, Shielded Metal Arc Welding I and II, Drawing and Welding Symbol Interpretation and Cutting Processes.Fall semester night classes at the Hancock Center include General Biology I and lab, Legal Environment of Business, Human Growth and Development, English Composition I, World Literature I and II, Personal and Community Health, World Civilization I, Essential College Skills, College Study Skills, Music Appreciation, American National Government, Beginning Reading, Intermediate Reading, Introduction to Sociology and Public Speaking I.Fall semester night classes at John C. Stennis Space Center include Child Development II, Creative Arts for Young Children, English Composition I and College Algebra. Students taking classes at Stennis need to register at the Hancock Center.Day and night classes start Monday, Aug. 16.Tuition for full-time students taking a minimum of 12 hours is $1,000 per semester. Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
