Free, invitation-only 7-on-7 camp on tap for July 26 at Pearl River

POPLARVILLE Pearl River Community College fourth-annual Seven-On-Seven Passing Camp set for July 7 was been cancelled after over half of the 13 prep teams scheduled to participate opted not to attend the 2011 event, says PRCC head coach Tim Hatten. Hatten said a free, invitation-only camp has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 26. I dont know what all the circumstances were, but seven of the 13 teams we were planning on being here called and said they couldnt make it, he said. There was a lot of work and preparation went into planning this thing, but things just didnt work out. We are, however, rescheduling a similar camp for the 26th. Hatten said 16 teams will be on hand for the July 26 camp, which will start at 4 p.m.
