    • Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of WIN Center (Hattiesburg) Case Manager to qualified applicants. This is a grant funded 12 month position under the Office of Adult Education. The primary focus of this position is to promote PRCC programs, provide case management to potential and current WIOA students, and to implement grant administrative duties related to student support and internships. Regular travel to Columbia WIN Center and the Forrest County Center is required. This position will work closely with Adult Education, Career Technical and Workforce faculty and staff, and other agencies, including MDES, MDHS, and MDRS.

      Qualified applicants for this position are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree, to work well independently and in a team environment and to be proficient in Microsoft Office. Additional preferred requirements for applicants include case manager experience, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and experience working with public and industry personnel.

    • The position of Instructor of English (Poplarville) is now available to qualified applicants.  Individuals interested in the position must have appropriate graduate hours in English.  Individuals must have a thorough understanding of the use of technology as a supplemental instructional tool and as a tool for accomplishing tasks in the workplace.  The applicant must express an aspiration toward life-long learning and an awareness of working as a member of a departmental team.  Duties will include but are not limited to: instructor of lecture and/or lab classes, membership on college committees, sponsorship of student organizations, administration of proctored tests, and advisement of students in English related fields as well as General Studies students.  While this position will primarily be located at the Hancock Center in Waveland, applicants should be prepared to travel to any PRCC location.  For further information, please contact Ms. Alexandra Kennedy at akennedy@prcc.edu.   The position is open until filled.
    • Pearl River Community College is now accepting applications for the position of Head Resident, Moody Hall (Women)(10 Mos). This position assists the women’s softball program. Potential applicants must have college coaching experience in women’s softball. The position will become effective August 1, 2017.     • The position of Instructor of Unmanned Aerial Systems Technology is now available for internal transfer to qualified employees. This is a full-time (9 month) professional grant-funded position.  Pearl River Community College is seeking a highly skilled individual with credentials certifying qualifications. Must provide certificates received that substantiate instructor/operator training. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with small UAS rating required. FAA Private Pilot or better rating preferred. Desired skills include UAS instructor experience performing in the classroom, field training, and hands-on flight training. Must be proficient in multirotor and fixed wing UAS manual flight control. Understand current FAA guidance regarding UAS operation in National Airspace. Manage radio communications when operating in all classes of airspace while operating in an airport environment. Perform instruction at multiple levels depending on student knowledge / capability; provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and operating UAS.
