PSY1513 General Psychology. (3) An introduction to the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. This includes history and theories of psychology, research methods, biological bases of behavior, the principles of learning, personality and abnormal behavior. Three lecture hours per week.
PSY2553 Psychology of Personal Adjustment. (3) Prerequisite: PSY 1513 A course to aid in developing an understanding of the causes and symptoms of emotional maladjustment. Emphasis is placed upon preparing the students to anticipate and deal with their own problems and to improve their understanding of the behavior of others.
