Transfer Week

Pearl River Community College will host a Transfer Week for students interested in transferring to a four year institution. The following Universities will be present this week from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in Crosby Hall – Great Hall:

Monday, March 24th –William Carey University (WCU) & Mississippi College (MC)
Tuesday, March 25th – Mississippi State University (MSU)
Wednesday, March 26th – University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)
Thursday, March 27th – University of Southern Mississippi (USM)*
Friday, March 28th – Delta State University (DSU)

The purpose of this event is to assist students in making a smooth transition from PRCC to the University of their choice. Students will be able to complete/turn in admissions applications, financial aid applications, and housing applications as well as speak with college representatives about basic degree requirements and obtain information on specific programs. Some students may be admitted on site if they bring their transcripts and ACT scores with them.

We are extremely excited that these Universities are participating in this event and would like to encourage all interested students to take part.

*USM would like to announce that students will have an opportunity to complete the application process that day. Students will simply need to bring an official copy of their Pearl River Community College transcript and transcripts from any other institutions they may have attended. Students who complete the application process this day will be exempt from the $35 application fee.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
