Sign up for welding class in Carson

  Pearl River Community College will offer a welding course this summer at the Jeff Davis VocTech Center in Carson.
  The course will meet from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 1-July 16. It offers the industry recognized certificate in welding, including application for NCCER certification in introductory craft skills core curriculum and modules in Welding Level 1.
  Cost is $250. Registration requires a clean drug screen at the student’s expense, application and receipt for payment from the VocTech office. Students must provide their own welding gloves and cap, steel-toed shoes and long-sleeve shirt. Registration deadline is May 15.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
