Register now for ACT Boot Camp

  POPLARVILLE Pearl River Community College will hold an ACT Boot Camp on Friday, March 24, in Poplarville.
  The camp is open to any junior or senior high school student preparing to take the ACT. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 24 in the Science Building auditorium on the Poplarville campus.
  The instructor, Dr. Jennifer Seal, is an educator and ACT prep specialist. In addition to learning tips and techniques to improve their scores, she will provide students with a study guide. A pizza lunch will also be provided.
  Cost is $55 and must be submitted by Wednesday, March 1, by mail to Brenda Wells, director of professional and community development, Pearl River Community College, P.O. Box 5558, Poplarville, MS 39470; or hand delivered to Wells in the Office of Institutional Reseach on the second floor of the Administration Building.
  Registration forms are available in Wells’ office or by contacting her at 601 403-1379. Checks should be made payable to Pearl River Community College and designated for the ACT Boot Camp.
