  POPLARVILLE – Young cheerleaders can have a day of fun on Saturday, Oct. 17, when Pearl River Community College celebrates homecoming and hosts the PRCC Lil’ Wildcat Cheer Clinic.
  The clinic, open to ages 2 to 12, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Shivers Gym. Activities include cheers, chants, dances, games and pizza for lunch.
  Participants will then go to the Little Princess Tea Party to meet the homecoming court and get autographed photos and other goodies.
  The Homecoming Carnival on the football practice field will be next with fun jumps, rock climbing, games and prizes.
  The Lil’ Wildcat cheerleaders will participate in welcoming the Wildcats to the field before the 2 p.m. kickoff against Northeast Mississippi Community College and show off their cheering skills during the first quarter.
  Registration fee is $30 and includes a t-shirt. Deadline is Oct. 1. Late registration will be $35 and does not include a guaranteed shirt. Mail registration and fees to PRCC Cheerleaders, 101 Highway 11 North, Poplarville, MS 39470.
