PRCC’s Voices, Singers to perform Tuesday

  POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College presents the Pearl River Singers and The Voices in concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Malone Chapel on the Poplarville campus.
  The Pearl River Singers choir will perform  a selection of songs centered on the theme of home. They include Shenandoah, Homeland, That Ever I Saw, Return, Homeward Bound, Ride On, King Jesus and Somewhere.
  The Voices, 12 students selected by audition, will sing In Your Eyes, Mallory Cumberland of Picayune, soloist; Time After Time, Claire Loper of Lumberton, soloist; Lonesome Road, Frank Henry of Poplarville, soloist; True Colors, Rachel Pierce of Columbia, soloist; and How Far We’ve Come, Jonathan Morris of Brooklyn and Pierce, soloists.
  Both groups are conducted by LaDona Tyson, PRCC director of choral groups.
  The concert is free and open to the public

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
