PRCC to break ground for performing arts center

POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College will formally break ground next week for the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Performing Arts on the Poplarville campus.The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, on the practice field across River Road from Moody Hall.Mac Construction Co. of Hattiesburg will build the $10.4 million state-of-the art facility, financed in part by a $4.7 million bequest from the late Ethel Holden Brownstone along with a Mississippi Arts Commission grant.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
