POPLARVILLE – The Spirit of the River marching band will bring holiday greetings from Pearl River Community College to parade-goers in seven area towns.The band will be in the following Christmas parades:Prentiss at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1.Columbia at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1.Poplarville at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2.Bassfield at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.Sumrall at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.Petal at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.Picayune at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5.The band is under the direction of Dr. Kyle Hill and Mike Bass.
