HATTIESBURG – Pearl River Community College is offering several computer skills training classes, starting next month at the Lowery Woodall Advanced Technology Center in the Hattiesburg-Forrest County Industrial Park.”We offer short term computer skills training for the general public as well as business and industry,” said Dr. Lindsey Lewis, Workforce and Economic Development Specialist for PRCC. “Classes can be scheduled to meet the needs of five or more on an as needed basis.”Cost is $25. This course teaches the basic features and functions of Microsoft Word. Thursday, Sept. 15, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.> Microsoft Excel 2007. This course teaches basic skills with Microsoft popular spreadsheet program. Thursday, Sept. 22, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.> Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. This is a presentation graphics program that allows you to easily develop dynamic presentations. Thursday, Sept. 29, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
