PRCC hosts Skills USA high school competition

  POPLARVILLE – Hundreds of South Mississippi high school students traveled to Pearl River Community College Thursday, Feb. 19, for Skills USA regional competition.
  The winners advance to state competition next month in Jackson.
  Competition categories, the winners and the schools they attend are as follows:
  Architectural drafting – Tyler Hoomes, Harrison County Vo-Tech, first; Savannah Wilson, Hancock County Vo-Tech, second; James Terry, Forrest County Agricultural High School, third.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
