The Pearl River Community College Dr. William Lewis Honors Institute on the Poplarville Campus has elected the following 2024-2025 officers:
(left to right) President Sahil Ajmera of Carriere, Vice President Justin Hamilton of Collins, Sophomore Representatives Nickolas Rogers of Petal, Naomi Williamson of Wiggins, and Chloe Ezell of Ocean Springs, Social Media Manager Laura Cate Lumpkin of Carriere, Freshman Representatives Kaydence Harrell of Bassfield, Emily Carroll of Carriere, and Brady Morse of Hancock County.
The Pearl River Community College Honors Institute provides a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment for students seeking more than the regular classroom experience. Our award-winning faculty lead discussion-based classes that foster critical thinking and academic growth. Honors students also attend weekly forums and the Lyceum Lecture Series with distinguished speakers from around the world, promoting intellectual engagement.
“The Honors officers are to be commended for their passion and vision for service,” said Dr. Jennifer Seal, Dean of the Dr. William Lewis Honors Institute. ” I am so incredibly proud of our newly elected Honors officers for stepping up and embracing this leadership opportunity.”
