The Floor Covering Education Foundation’s donation will help cover any balance students have on their class accounts.

“I would like to say thank you to the Floor Covering Education Foundation for the scholarships they awarded the students in the Commercial and Residential Construction class,” said Rashan Foxworth, program instructor.

“These funds for these students mean everything. They are dedicated to improving themselves and the knowledge of the construction trades and that comes with financial difficulties.”

As a former student of the PRCC CTE arena, Foxworth sees his job as an awesome opportunity to teach skills to future trades for men and women.

“This amazing scholarship gives the students freedom to learn the craft of their choice without being bothered by the financial worries that life presents us all,” said Foxworth. “So, this scholarship is a blessing, that allows the students to focus more on their studies than how to pay for school.”

The 14 students include: Burkitt Anderson, David Bess, Cianna Dillon, Litzy Flores, Camren Helton, Ethan Kennedy, Kendall McInnis, Cameron Moore, Gavin Phillips, Dante Pittman, Keith Richardson, Michael Winters, Taherrah Young and Robert Youngblood.
