PRCC changes dates of June, July board meetings

POPLARVILLE – The Pearl River Community College Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in the Crosby Hall board room.
The board voted to change the meeting date because of a schedule conflict with PRCC President Dr. William Lewis’s role as chairman of the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College’s Presidents Association.
The board also changed its July meeting to 1 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Mary Mahoney’s Restaurant in Biloxi.
The change was made to accommodate the six school superintendents on the board who will be attending a state superintendents’ meeting on the Gulf Coast as well as PRCC trustees who will be attending the MACJC trustees conference.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
