POPLARVILLE – A course offering the industry recognized certificate in pipefiitting will be taught at Pearl River Community College’s Poplarville campus during the fall semester.
The course will meet from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Cost is $300.
Students who complete the course will be eligible for application for 10-hour OSHA certification, basic lift truck operator OSHA certification and NCCER certification in introductory craft skills core curriculum, Level 1 and Level 2 pipefitting.
Students must be 18 years old and complete the following steps in this order to reserve a seat:
•CRC Certificate rating of silver or better. Free CRC testing is offered at the Woodall Center in Hattiesburg; 601 554-4646.
•Clean drug screen at student’s expense.
