Petal High''s Langley signs with Wildcats

POPLARVILLE Petal High School baseball standout Jacoby Langley has signed with the Pearl River Community College Wildcats for the 2012 season. Langley, who was the starting center fielder for head coach Larry Watkins back-to-back MHSAA Class 6A Panther squad in 2010 and 2011, is the son of Darrell and Michelle Langley of Petal. Langley batted .333 this past season for PHS and also was also a relief pitcher for the Panther squad. Petal defeated Tupelo for the state title this past Saturday, while beating powerhouse Madison Central for the 2010 championship. Langley brother, Dustin, was the starting left fielder for the Wildcats in 2008 and 2009.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
