The son of Russell and Jill Lee of Picayune, he batted a second-best .364 (52 hits in 143 plate appearances) for The River this past season and led the squad with 30 stolen bases on 32 attempts. Lee’s .462 on-base percentage was also second on the team, while hits 21 RBIs ranked fifth. He had a .455 slugging percentage.

Touted as one of the best defensive players among the state Jucos, Lee boasted a .950 fielding percentage.

Lee, who started all 44 games the Wildcats played this past year, is suiting up in the Texas Collegiate League with the Acadiana Cane Cutters out of Lafayette, La., this summer.
