Pearl River signs 22 to football pacts on National Signing Day

POPLARVILLE Pearl River Community College head football coach Tim Hatten signed 22 in-district high school standouts to national letters of intent here Wednesday on National Signing Day. Wednesday’s announcement doesn’t include out-of-state signees. The signees (listed alphabetically by high school) include BASSFIELD HIGH: Wesley Brown (DL), Marino Daggon (DB). BAY HIGH: Jordan Sutherlin (OL).n COLUMBIA HIGH: Donovan Newton (WR).n FORREST COUNTY A.H.S.: Markeyus Johnson (RB), E.J. Pearson (DL).n LUMBERTON HIGH: Charles Goins (DE), Darius Holder (QB-DB), Jamaal Taylor (DB).n NORTH FORREST HIGH: Shaun Jones (WR-DB).n OAK GROVE HIGH: Dylan Fedora (WR).n PETAL HIGH: Cody Conkle (OL), Levi Freeman (OL), Conner James (OL), Tanner Phillips (OL).n PICAYUNE HIGH: Brandon Dedeaux (LB), Maurice Jones (DL), Jamal Hall (RB), Jovante Wilson (WR).n PRENTISS HIGH: Kurt Magee (DB).n PURVIS HIGH: Terrison Dantzler (QB-DB), Corbin Taylor (WR). Hatten said several other players are expected to sign in the coming days.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
