Pearl River offers Hancock County application day

Pearl River Community College is offering prospective students in Hancock County help with the transition to college through an Application Day and Recruiter Meet and Greet.

The event will be held at the PRCC Hancock Center in Waveland on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

“We are looking forward to spending the day at the Hancock County Center to assist the students in our district as they navigate through the admission process,” Director of Recruitment Richard Gleber said. “We will be offering our future Wildcats a one-stop-shop for our students in Hancock County.  We will be available to answer all of their questions and assist them in completing a PRCC application.

“Our main goal is to offer personal support to the students, so their transition after graduation will be less stressful and seamless.”

Future Wildcats will have the opportunity to receive help filling out their Spring or Fall 2021 PRCC application, meet their Pearl River recruiters and have their questions concerning the admissions process, scholarships and academic programs answered during the event.

“Being from the Gulf Coast, I am thankful to be able to connect with students within the community,” PRCC Recruiter RonShea Moore said. “We are excited to host this event for our prospective Wildcats! As a Recruiter, the best part of my job is the opportunity to meet and greet future students and help them succeed in their future endeavors.”

Pearl River will be practicing COVID-19 safety measures and masks are required by all event participants.

Questions can be directed to the PRCC Office of Recruitment at 601-403-1197 or recruitment@prcc.edu. The PRCC Hancock Center is located at 454 Hwy 90, Suite D – Waveland.
