Schedule a ROAR Advising Appointment

Schedule your ROAR advising appointment at a day and time that’s convenient for you. Advising appointments are offered in-person, virtually, and by phone.

IMPORTANT: At minimum, you must have your ACT scores on file in the Admissions Office before you can register for classes. If you are a transfer student, you must have a college transcript on file before you can register for classes.  Students who took dual enrollment courses in high school should have official college transcripts sent to the Admissions Office if not taken through PRCC. 

We will begin advising spring 2024 start students November 13.  Secure your appointment today!

A: Contact the First-Year Experience department at 601-403-1250 or  We’re happy to help!

A: Due to space limitations, you may bring no more than one guest with you to your advisement appointment.

A: If you want to change your major, please send an e-mail to or call 601-403-1250. Be sure to provide us with your student ID number and your new major.

A: Returning and Transient students are not required to go through ROAR.  These students should contact the appropriate advisement center to schedule an appointment.  For more information on student advisement, visit Advising/Counseling.

Current Wildcats should contact their assigned advisor to make a schedule.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
