POPLARVILLE – No. 7-ranked Darton College proved to be too much for Pearl River here Monday, as the Lady Cavaliers blanked the home-standing Lady Wildcats 6-0. PRCC fell to 9-3-1 overall with the loss, while DC improved to 12-1-1. Darton, which is located in Albany, Ga., led 4-0 at the half. Shelby Bush scored four goals for the Lady Cavaliers, while Sashana Campbell and Renee Hurd added solo scores. Pearl River''s women''s and men''s squads resume MACJC South Division play Saturday with a road trip to Copiah-Lincoln in Wesson (women 5:30 p.m., men 7:30 p.m.) before wrapping up their regular season Tuesday, Oct. 19, against Mississippi Gulf Coast in Perkinston (women 5:30 p.m., men 7:30 p.m.).
