Pearl River Community College’s Forrest County Campus recently honored 27 students with a National Technical Honor Society fall induction ceremony.

The National Technical Honor Society currently serves more than 100,000 active members and nearly 2 million alumni since its inception in 1984.

NTHS membership recognizes students for their academic excellence in a Career Technical program, according to Cassie Jackson, CTE Student Services Coordinator at the Forrest County Campus and a NTHS advisor.

“The students inducted into NTHS truly deserve this honor,” said Jackson. “It’s inspiring to see talented technical students recognized for their hard work and to watch the community gain a greater appreciation for the skills and achievements of the young people and adults who choose technical education as their pathway to success.”

Schultz, 24, a Radiology Technology major agreed. “This membership means that my hard work and dedication has paid off.”
