Michelle Campbell, Senior Administrative Assistant to Vice President for Forrest County Operations, was surprised by several co-workers with the announcement she had been selected as Outstanding PRCC Employee for December 2022. She was presented with certificates containing her nomination information and several goodies in honor of her hard work.
“I am so thankful for the family atmosphere at Pearl River Community College,” said Campbell. “Everyone is so welcoming and has the same ambition of helping students achieve their goals. I love to serve others and being in my position allows me to do so. Being a Wildcat feels like home!”
Campbell came to The River in July 2016. She was originally the Secretary/Receptionist for the President before moving into her role at FCC in May 2017.
“Michelle is a motivated and hard worker with a big servant heart,” said Vice President for Forrest County Center, Allied Health, and Nursing Programs Dr. Jana Causey. “She is always willing to jump in and help anyone.”
The Outstanding PRCC Employee recognition program was set up to allow anyone in the community to recognize a PRCC employee that goes above and beyond in their duties.
Amanda Brumfield, Internal Process Developer/Graduation Clerk, nominated Campell. She said, “I enjoy working with Michelle. She’s always willing to lend a hand in any situation and has such a positive attitude while doing it.”
“Michelle is the go-to person at our Hattiesburg campus,” Internal Process Developer / Co-Director of Wildcat Hub, Hannah Miller said. “She volunteers to help anytime there’s an opportunity. We know we can always count on Michelle.”
Anyone wishing to nominate a current PRCC employee can do so monthly through the PRCC website at prcc.edu/nominate-prcc-employee/.
