The primary role of our student workers will be to assist with the live streaming of the PRCC athletic events as camera operators. We will use two to three cameras for our live-stream productions depending on the sporting event. If a student has limited or no experience in video sporting events, we will train the students selected for these positions.
Another role our student workers fill during the live streaming of games is a producer. The producers switch to different cameras, run the commercials during breaks, monitor the OCR digital scoreboard, ensure the audio is at the appropriate level, etc. A producer is another position where the student worker does not need previous experience; as students transition into the role, they will receive training.
This position requires evenings, nights, and weekend work.
- Earn up to $1,000 a semester service scholarship
- Must be a full-time PRCC Student (15 semester credit hours)
- Must maintain a 2.5 semester GPA
