Hancock Center offers summer welding

  WAVELAND – Pearl River Community College will offer welding during the summer at the Hancock Center in Waveland.
  The class will meet from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning May 23 and ending July 27. Classes meet in the Hancock Center welding shop at 454 Highway 90, Waveland.
  Cost for the course is $250 with $50 due when the application is turned in and the remainder by the first day of class.
  The class offers an industry recognized certificate in welding, including applications for certifications in 10-hour OSHA and NCER introductory craft skills core curriculum and Level I welding modules.

  Students must be 18 years old by the start of class and must provide welding shield, gloves and hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs and a long sleeve shirt. 

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
