Kids College- Summer Camps

Hunter Safety

Hunter Safety Camp will be led by Conservation Officers from the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, & Parks Department. Students will learn wildlife identification, weapon and ammunition handling, and personal safety. Participants completing the course will receive a certificate.

For Boys and Girls who have completed: 6th – 8th Grades

Go Wild Native Animals

Go Wild will teach campers about animals native to Mississippi and conservation efforts to protect them. Animal classifications and habitats will be discussed. There will be opportunities for live animal encounters.

Robotics allows participants to take the plunge with beginning computer programming. Campers will test their skills while completing various missions.

This beginner-level camp will introduce participants to three-dimensional design while offering opportunities to experiment with additive technology.

First Aid Training will teach campers the information and skills necessary to help in emergency medical situations. Participants will learn how to confidently react and provide assistance.
