Policy:
Pearl River Community College will maintain student records.
Procedure:
The following information on students will be maintained in the Office of Admissions and Records.
- College application
- Transcript(s)
- Test Scores
- Incidental information
Paper and electronic records are imaged upon receipt, stored digitally, shredded and disposed of appropriately. Student records are backed up and encrypted nightly. The encrypted backups are then replicated off site to a cloud vault to provide an additional layer of protection.
Discipline records are maintained in the same format as student records.
