Pearl River Community College may allow guest speakers on campus.
Faculty members or students who wish to invite guest speakers to the College should follow the procedures listed:
- The speaker’s request to speak on the College campus must be cleared by the appropriate Campus Vice President.
- Request by the speaker must be made 10 days prior to the desired speaking date. The committee will in turn confirm the date, location, and time of day the speaking engagement will be. The committee will provide a representative of the College to be present at this engagement.
- Student attendance will be on a voluntary basis. No excuses will be granted from any class or scheduled activity.
- Acceptance by Pearl River Community College for anyone to speak on the campus will in no way reflect the views of the speaker or endorsement of the speaker by the College.
