Exceptional Vocal Performances enjoyed during ACA-Fest at Pearl River Community College

High energy and exceptional vocals were experienced by attendees at ACA-Fest held in the Brownstone Center for the Arts on Pearl River Community College’s Poplarville campus. The concert ended a day of workshops for 14 a capella groups from around the region.

PRCC hosts this annual Mississippi American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) event. The day included individual group coaching and breakout sessions targeted at singers and directors. Participation is by invitation only.

Participating groups included Spectra (Oak Grove High School), Aggabellas (Forrest County Agricultural High School), Illuminate (Petal Middle School), Traces of Blue (Sumrall High School), Gold Rush (Sumrall High School), Southern Synergy (Clinton High School), Arrow 401 (Clinton High School), West Harrison High School, Shades of Gold (Poplarville High School), Sounds of PRC (PRC High School), B19 (Brandon High School), Brilliance (Brandon High School), TrebullDAWGS (Mississippi State University), and The Voices (Pearl River Community College).

The Voices closed out the evening concert.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
