Concert Band to perform March 31

POPLARVILLE – The Pearl River Community College concert band will present its spring concert at 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts in Poplarville.
The concert will feature PRCC music faculty as soloists.
The program includes La Mandolinata with assistant band director Michael Bass on trumpet, Embraceable You with vocalist LaDona Tyson, director of choral groups; Cute with percussion instructor Ronnie Pascal on drumset and Persuasion with Archie Rawls, department chair and JazzCats director, on saxophone.
Also, Pride and Prejudice with pianist Hope McKellip Bass and The Worried Drummer with Dr. Kyle Hill, director of bands, on percussion.
There is no admission charge.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
