CNA course to be taught in Carson

  Pearl River Community College will offer a certified nursing assistant course at the Jefferson Davis County Career and Technical Center in Carson.
  The class will meet from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Jan. 3 and ending March 16.
  Only eight students will be accepted. Students must be 18 before the class starts and provide their own maroon uniforms.
  Cost for the course is $275 and includes a workbook and fee for the state licensing examination.
  Applications for the course can be obtained at the Career and Technical Center or by calling Cheryl Frierson at 601 403-1113.
  Students must submit the application, clean drug screen, background check, one-step TB skin test results and payment by cash or money order before the class starts..

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
