Brownstone season tickets go on sale

  POPLARVILLE – Season tickets for Premier Performance Events at Pearl River Community College’s Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts are on sale through Sept. 15
  A season ticket give patrons orchestra level seating for the five Premier events.
  The season begins on Sept. 15 when the Annie Moses Band presents Rhapsody in Bluegrass: The Art of American Music. Others events are Holiday Pops featuring PRCC fine arts ensembles on Dec. 4, The Nutcracker performed by the South Mississippi Ballet Theatre on Dec. 20 and 21, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in concert on March 24 and Neil Simon’s  “Rumors” presented by the PRCC theater department on April 9, 10 and 11.
  The Brownstone Center opened to rave reviews a year ago.
  “Our 2013-14 inaugural season at the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts was a tremendous success,” said Archie Rawls, center director and chairman of the PRCC Department of Fine Arts and Communication. “We have a wonderful and varied season of events planned for 2014-15 and we invite you to join us for these quality presentations in our amazing theater.”
  Sponsors of Premier Performance Events are Martin and Dolores Smith, the John Pigott Agency, Hattiesburg Coca-Cola, Mississippi Power, Griffin Architecture and The Poplarville Clinic of Hattiesburg Clinic.
  Tickets for the Annie Moses Band performance are $25 for orchestra level seating and $20 for balcony.
