Beauty and The Beast tickets on sale

  POPLARVILLE – Tickets are on sale for the Pearl River Community College production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
  The musical will be presented at 7 p.m. April 14 and 15 and at 2 p.m. April 16 at the Brownstone Center for the Arts in Poplarville.
Cast in the starring roles are Courtney King of Columbia as Belle and Micah Eastridge of Carriere as The Beast.
  The Disney classic tells the story of Belle, a young woman in a provinical town, and The Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell. If he can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out and if The Beast doesn’t learn the lessons, he and his household will be doomed for eternity.
  The cast also includes Arianna Chaisson of Picayune, as the old beggar woman; Arnold Spiers of Carriere, Maurice; Chase Mitchell of Hurley, Gaston; Nick Gaworski of Petal, Lefou; Chandler Moore of Petal, Monsieur d’Argue; Lucas Callahan of Petal, Cogsworth; Houston McMahon of Purvis, Lumiere; Savannah Holman of Kokomo, Babette; Lane Stewart of Gulfport, Mrs. Potts; Devin Hedgepeth of Picayune, Chip; Alyssa Hill of Carriere, Madame de la Grande Bouche; Bethany Berryman of Carriere, Lydia Howard and Caitlin Lee, both of Poplarville, Silly Girls.
  RiverRoad showchoir members not otherwise cast will be the chorus.
  Director is PRCC theater instructor Christopher Flynn and musical director is LaDona Tyson, PRCC director of choral groups. Stage manager is Stephanie Malcolm of Bay St. Louis assisted by Arlyn Toups of Diamondhead.
  The musical is a Brownstone Premier Event. Tickets are $20 for orchestra level seating and $15 for the balcony and can be purchased by calling 601 403-1180 or at brownpapertickets.com.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
