Band Clinic concerts open to public

  POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College will host the PRCC Band Clinic for secondary students on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20, on the Poplarville campus.
  Approximately 300 students are expected to take part in auditions Friday afternoon, rehearsals and a concert at 2 p.m. Saturday.
  Clinicians are Sheilly Bell from Dutchtown High School in Geismar, La.; Travis Coakley from Biloxi High School and Jennifer Cook from Biloxi Middle School. The students will audition for placement in one of the three bands directed by the visiting clinicians.
  PRCC’s JazzCats and Wind Ensemble will perform for the students at 6 p.m. Friday.
  The Friday night and Saturday concerts are open to the public in the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for the Arts.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
