Alumni Association going to West Coast

  POPLARVILLE – The Pearl River Community College Alumni Association is putting together an 8-day trip to the West Coast in May.
  The cost of $2,950 is for double room occupancy and includes round-trip airfare, bus transportation, seven nights in hotels, four breakfasts, three dinners and admission to museums and tours.
  A deposit of $830 is required by Wednesday, Nov. 16, to reserve a place. The remaining fee is to be paid in increments of $530 on the 16th of December, January, February and March.
  The tour will include the National Automobile Museum, Reno City, Virginia City and Lake Tahoe, Nev., a cruise across Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay and Squaw Valley, California state capitol tour, California State Railroad Museum, Old Town in Sacramento, tours of V Sattui Winery and Benzier Winery, Alcatraz Island prison tour, cable car ride and touring in San Francisco, Golden Gate State Park and Academy of Sciences museums, Monterey Bay Aquarium, John Steinbeck’s Cannery Row and a 17-mile drive along Pebble Beach and the California coast.
  Travelers can depart from New Orleans or Jackson on May 16 for Reno, Nev., and return from San Jose, Calif., on May 23.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
