Allied Health Pinnings 2025-2026 Academic Year

Pearl River Community College proudly honors the graduates of our Allied Health programs for the 2025 – 2026 School year.

Below are images capturing these special pinning ceremonies, where students were recognized for their hard work and dedication.

We congratulate all our graduates and wish them success in their chosen fields as they embark on their careers in healthcare.

PRCC Surgical Technology Program December 2025

Graduates of the Surgical Technology program at Pearl River Community College’s Forrest County Campus received their diplomas and pins during a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Forrest County Campus in Hattiesburg. 

They are from left: Seated – Janasia Aaron of Columbia, Kendria Bridges of Jayess, Akeysia Johnson of Jayess, Kenyatta Trotter of Columbia, Kyndall Cooper-Fantroy of Hattiesburg and Shelby Holifield of Laurel. Standing – Kirsten Adams of Richland, Kenzie Keller of Sumrall, Makaela Stockstill of Picayune, Kayeli Farmer of Picayune, Layla Hofstetter of Petal, Kara Phillips of Purvis.

Department Chair and Program Director is Tammy Allhoff, who has retired after 30 years in the department at PRCC. Instructors are Monika Phillips, Deidre Brumfield and Leah Backstrom, who will replace Allhoff as Program Director in January. 

PRCC Respiratory Care Program December 2025

Graduates of the Respiratory Care program at Pearl River Community College’s Forrest County Campus received their diplomas and pins during a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Forrest County Campus in Hattiesburg.

They are from left: Seated – Zoee Priscilla Smith of Petal, Grace Hadley Sigman of McHenry, Kylie Parish Smith of Pearl River, La., Isabella Grace Hammond of Laurel, Heather Rose Coleman of Bay St. Louis, and Hannah Nicole Davis of Lumberton. Standing – Ian Christopher August of Biloxi, Shanterrious Ashanti Harrell of McComb, Presley Scott Dease of Columbia,  Makayla Lee Forbes of Foxworth, Arionna Ja’Nay Galloway of Wiggins and Hunter Lance Jackson of Purvis.

Sigman was selected as outstanding student. Zoe Smith received the Student Choice Award. Preceptors of the Year were Elijah Barela and Jennifer Watts. Most Welcoming Clinical Facility was the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Sigman, Galloway, Davis and Kylie Smith graduated with honors.

Program Director is Frances Wright, Instructors are Becky Stephens and Casey Mallett, who also serves as Director of Clinical Education.  

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
