Accreditation Status
The PRCC Respiratory Care Technology Program, CoARC #200409, located on the FCC (Forrest County Center), is accredited by CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care www.coarc.com. CoARC accredits respiratory therapy education programs in the United States. To achieve this end, it utilizes an ‘outcomes–based’ process. Programmatic outcomes are performance indicators that reflect the extent to which the educational goals of the program are achieved and by which program effectiveness is documented.

Possible careers in this program:
Work as a Respiratory Therapist in all areas of the hospital, including Intensive Care Units, Emergency room, and Neonatal ICU. RTs can also travel, and work in clinics and home health. Become educators, supervisors, and program directors.

Goals of Program:
To prepare graduates with demonstrated competence in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains of respiratory care practice as performed by registered respiratory therapists (RRTs).
