Mission of Program:
The mission of the Computed Tomography Advanced Certificate is to prepare competent, entry-level CT technologists who demonstrate clinical excellence, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Certifications and Degrees
Students enrolled in the Computed Tomography Advanced Certificate Route will have the opportunity to earn a CT certificate and qualify for post-primary certification in Computed Tomography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

What a student can expect from a career in this field:
Computed Tomography is an advanced imaging specialty that uses X-ray technology and computer processing to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. CT technologists are responsible for: • Performing diagnostic CT procedures • Ensuring patient safety and radiation protection • Administering contrast media when appropriate • Operating advanced imaging equipment • Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams CT technologists play a critical role in diagnosing trauma, cancer, vascular disease, and other medical conditions.
Goals of Program:
The goal of the Computed Tomography Advanced Certificate is to provide students with the knowledge and clinical experience necessary to perform CT procedures safely and effectively, and to prepare graduates for certification and employment in the medical imaging field.
