Health Sciences & Nursing (HSNUR)

Pathway Information

Selecting the Health Sciences and Nursing Pathway means that you are a person who enjoys planning, managing, and providing health services. This pathway provides students with the skills and academic proficiency to pursue a career in the health field after completing a 2 year program, or continuing their education by transferring to a 4 year university. If you are planning to apply to an allied health program (such as Dental Hygiene or Physical Therapist Assistant), then the Health Sciences and Nursing Pathway will help you earn the academic courses that will be needed for the various allied health programs.

2 Year or Less Programs at PRCC

*Until you are selected for the nursing program or an allied health program, you are considered a Pre-Allied Health student and should select Health Sciences & Nursing Pathway with the Pre-Allied Health Concentration on your admissions application or Change of Major Form.
