Math Lab

General Information

Any PRCC student enrolled in a mathematics course for the current semester can use the Math Lab.  This includes both on-campus and online students.  The Math Lab is a computer lab where students can view mathematics lessons, complete homework assignments, receive help from faculty and student workers.

*Testing in the Math Lab on the Forrest County campus is limited to Forrest County on-campus hybrid and upper-level math students.

*Please note that the Poplarville Campus Math Lab is for homework only. All fully online math course testing is administered in the eLearning Testing Center, and all on-campus, face-to-face math course testing is administered in the GHJ Testing Center, both located in the Garvin H. Johnston Library on the Poplarville Campus.

A bachelor’s degree in mathematics will prepare you for fascinating jobs in statistics, actuarial sciences, mathematical modeling, and cryptography; for teaching; as well as for graduate school leading to a research career in mathematics or statistics. A strong background in mathematics is also necessary for research in many areas of computer science, social science, and engineering.
