Any PRCC student enrolled in a mathematics course for the current semester can use the Math Lab. This includes both on-campus and online students. The Math Lab is a computer lab where students can view mathematics lessons, complete homework assignments, receive help from faculty and student workers, and take tests.
Please note that the Forrest County Campus Math Lab is for homework only. Testing in the Math Lab on the Forrest County Campus is for on-campus students only.
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics will prepare you for fascinating jobs in statistics, actuarial sciences, mathematical modeling, and cryptography; for teaching; as well as for graduate school leading to a research career in mathematics or statistics. A strong background in mathematics is also necessary for research in many areas of computer science, social science, and engineering.
No appointment is necessary; however, please give yourself at least 30 minutes to complete a test. No one is allowed to begin a test within 30 minutes of the lab closing. Testing in the Math Lab on the Poplarville Campus is for on-campus students and online math students. If you have additional questions, you may call the Math Lab at (601) 403-1087.
